## About

Truong (Jack) Luu is an incoming Assistant Professor of Information Systems at Texas State University (starting Fall 2026) and a Ph.D. candidate in Information Systems at the University of Cincinnati (UC). His research focuses on developing robust frameworks, predictive models, and mechanisms to enhance information privacy and cybersecurity in AI/ML and blockchain-enabled applications, including his UCIP (Unified Concept of Information Privacy) dissertation framework. His doctoral work is advised by Andrew Harrison and Binny Samuel. He aims to mitigate cyber threats, protect individual rights, and ensure the secure, ethical adoption of these technologies in critical sectors like healthcare and fintech. His work has been published in leading outlets, including Information Systems Research (ISR), the Journal of Management Information Systems (JMIS), Personality and Individual Differences (PAID), Journal of Consumer Affairs (JCA), Economics Letters, Computers in Human Behavior (CHB), Journal of Information Science (JIS), Journal of Financial Education (JFED), the Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS), and the Americas Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS).
