Teach Your Computer to Write: Build and Train an LLM from Zero is a free textbook he wrote for business students with no technical background. It comes with a full set of course materials: 17 chapters, each with a lecture deck timed for one 75-minute class, a notebook that runs in a browser and a 15-minute assignment, plus a class-by-class plan and one rubric for every assignment.
Four lab exercises on the security of AI software run on the open data of AI Sec Watch. Students read an advisory, check a software stack, analyze a dataset release and test labels that a model assigned. Each lab gives outcomes, steps, a deliverable and discussion questions, and all are free to adapt.
